Tour Guide Forum Uganda is a registered association for tour guides and tourist drivers in Uganda. Its incoperated and operating as tour guides forum Uganda(TGFU) registered as a company limeted by guarantee. Registration number 8002001743045. We are an association promoting professionalism, quality and excelent guiding services for the developement and betterment of the tourism industry in Uganda the pearl of Africa. The association has 16 founding members and over 300 subscribing members around the country and still growing. Our association brings together all tour guides and tourist drivers from different tourism aspects like, culture, wild life, nature, bird watching, city tour, religion, adventure and specialised language guides. Our members are professionals with a great experience and knowledge to offer memorable safaris to all tourists visiting Uganda and East Africa.
Meet The Chairman
Mr. Mwere James
Mwere James is a professional tour operator and the founder and CEO of MJ Safaris Uganda, a local tour company that offers tailor made safaris in Uganda, Rwanda, DR Congo and Tanzania. He is also the chairman of the Tour Guides Forum Uganda (TGFU), a senior tourism officer at the Ministry of Tourism and Heritage Busoga Kingdom, and a member of the Women in Technology Uganda (WITU). He has extensive experience as a tour guide for over ten years and a lot of product knowledge as a tour operator. He is passionate about traveling, experiencing the wild, and promoting tourism in East Africa.
